TRAINEE: Payment and Cash Management
Responsibilities
- Assist cash management personnel in promoting cash management solutions and ongoing servicing of customers
- Support GTB Head and Sales Managers to prepare Sales presentations and in structuring tailor made cash management solutions for corporate and investment banking clients
- Support GTB Head and Sales Managers in executing Sales initiatives for cash management, modification of existing services, development of marketing strategies and establishment of Sales objectives.
- Explain products and services which would be of value to our corporate customers
- Handle customer enquiries along side the guidance of client service manager in the team
- Work closely with various departments in the bank for bank account related subjects
- Execution of transaction, deposits and various payment products
- Assist on documentation for both cash management and trade finance division
Profile required
- Graduate with a Bachelor degree or Masters degree from University
- Preferably to have other internship experiences
- Client centric mindset and behavior
- A team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent command of MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese (preferably both Mandarin and Cantonese)
This is a fixed term 24-month Trainee contract with Société Générale. You will form part of the team on a full time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Department Description:
Global Transaction & Payment Services (GTPS) is the Business Unit designed for domestic and international companies and institutions seeking support with commercial transactions (bank, commercial and corporate transactions) and payments. GTPS includes Payments & Cash Management (PCM), Cash Clearing services (BAN), Trade Finance services (TRA), Factoring (SGF) and Foreign Exchange services (FX) associated to these activities.
The PCM team includes a sales team and a customer support team.
