Responsibilities

The Sales Assistant is mainly responsible for supporting the activities of the Private Banks Sales Team.

The job holder is to provide support on administrative tasks, pre and post trade administrations, reconciling trade details, drafting documentation, automate repetitive work process and other ad hoc tasks/projects as necessary.

·       Strong communication and analytical skills, must be detail-oriented and proficient with numbers

·       Able to work under pressure and quick on the feet.

·       A team player that is self-motivated and has a positive attitude and able to work independently.

·       Good IT programming skills is preferred.

·       Experience in investment banking, especially Equities, Fixed Income & Foreign Exchange, is a plus.

·       Fluency in oral and written English is a must.  Fluency in Cantonese/Mandarin can be useful.

Profile required

Academic Background And Certifications, Experience

  • A Bachelor Degree holder in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science or Maths in University.

Main Responsibilities:

·       Work with Sales team on a day to day basis and assist them to provide services for clients

·       Draft & Review Term Sheets, Info Sheets, Supplementary Distribution Agreements, Pre-Confirmations, Presentations etc.

·       Work on client onboarding KYC  with internal stakeholder etc. on behalf of Sales

·       Check credit lines prior to trade execution and ensure requisite approvals are obtained where necessary

·       Reconcile trade details with clients, traders, middle and back offices.  Liaise internally with different parties (Legal, Operations, Client Support, Valuation, and Trading)

·       Maintain a comprehensive record of executed trades

·       Coordinate after-sales services for clients including issues related to settlement , valuations publication etc.

·       Automate the recurring workload in existing platforms
