Responsibilities

1.     Assist fixed-income exotic traders on projects and in their daily tasks

2.     Learn how to price vanilla and exotic instruments and help in automating pricing platforms

3.     Implement tactical tools to analyze and monitor the exposures to market risks

4.     Study new exotic structures

The Trainee role is a full time 24-month contract with Societe Generale where you will have access to a diverse range of training materials to help you succeed, covering various aspects of businesses, including but not limited to technical skills, leadership development, communication skills, client service and relationship management. To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contract.

Profile required

1.     Hold a relevant bachelor’s or master's degree in finance, Financial Mathematics, Quantitative Models or similar

2.     Outstanding academic performance that demonstrates good analytical background and quantitative skills

3.     Experience in market finance is ideal

4.     Proficient in Microsoft Office application (Excel, PowerPoint)

5.     Proficiency in coding with Python

6.     A quick learner who has a keen interest in the investment banking business

7.     Strong working capacity, in particular when under pressure

8.     Strong interpersonal skills

9.     Enthusiastic and a good team player

10.  Fluent English is mandatory
