Responsibilities

Societe Generale’s CLO and Lender Finance Desk is actively looking for a Vice President to join the team in our New York office to help support all aspects of the Desk’s activities.  

The Candidate would be part of a dynamic team responsible for the structuring, origination and syndication of all CLO, financing and other credit products.  
The Candidate will have a leading role in the structuring/modeling/executing of new issue BSL and Private Credit CLO transactions and other credit products managed by the Desk.

The Candidate will work with a team of experienced CLO and structured credit professionals and will have extensive exposure within the bank and with the Desk’s clients.

In addition to the usual Desk responsibilities expected of a Vice President, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Leading BSL and Private Credit CLO transactions throughout the lifecycle for each deal – origination, execution, syndication and closing
  • Working closely with CLO manager clients and investors to facilitate deal execution and syndication
  • Liaising with various deal parties to produce marketing materials for each transaction
  • Assisting the Desk’s senior leadership team with the origination of new BSL and Private Credit mandates, and working on innovative credit financing solutions for the Desk’s clients
  • Mastering the cash flow modeling, legal documentation and rating agency methodologies for CLOs and other complex credit products
  • Interacting daily with syndication, sales and trading teams to gain an understanding of the BSL and Private Credit CLO markets and identify any ongoing or evolving market trends and opportunities.

Profile required

COMPETENCIES & TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Expertise in BSL and/or Private Credit CLOs
  • Experience with financial modeling as well as documentation review and negotiation for BSL and Private Credit CLOs and other credit products required
  • Demonstrated work ethic, resourcefulness and ability to multi-task

PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE

  • 5+ years of CLO banking /structuring experience in CLO at a major financial institution required 

EDUCATION

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier university (preferably in Economics, Accounting, or Finance)

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
