Vice President – Cross Asset Solution - M/F/D
Responsibilities
Mission:
As Vice President within our Structured Products Sales team, you will play a key role in developing and strengthening relationships with financial institutions, private banking networks, and retail distributors across Iberia. You will leverage Société Générale's leading cross-asset platform to originate, structure, and execute innovative investment solutions across Equities, Fixed Income, FX, Rates, and Commodities, while delivering exceptional client service throughout the product lifecycle.
This role offers significant client exposure, commercial responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth of one of the market's leading structured products franchises.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Coverage
Develop and deepen relationships with financial institutions and distribution partners across Spain, Portugal, and Andorra
Identify new business opportunities and originate innovative investment solutions tailored to client needs
Deliver market insights, investment ideas, and product strategies to support client objective
Promote and expand the adoption of Société Générale's structured solutions platform
Product Structuring & Execution
Price, execute, and manage structured products across multiple asset classes
Coordinate transaction execution through SG's proprietary platforms and digital tools
Ensure efficient management of secondary market transactions and client requests
Monitor and communicate product events throughout the lifecycle of structured products
Client Support & Governance
Support onboarding processes and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
Coordinate contractual documentation, including distribution and derivatives agreements
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of client experience and operational excellence
Profile required
Studies & experience:
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline
MBA or postgraduate qualifications are considered a plus
7–12 years of relevant experience within Structured Products Sales, Capital Markets, Global Markets, or Cross-Asset Solutions
Language skills:
Fluent Spanish and English required
Portuguese and/or French highly desirable
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
Proven track record covering institutional clients, retail distribution platforms, private banking networks, or wealth management channels
Demonstrated success in originating and executing structured investment solutions
Strong knowledge of structured products and derivative solutions across:
- Equities
- Fixed Income
- Foreign Exchange
- Rates
- Commodities
Deep understanding of financial markets and investor behaviour
Familiarity with regulatory and suitability requirements associated with structured products distribution.
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong commercial acumen
Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
Strong communication and presentation abilities
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, client-focused, and collaborative environment
