Vice President/Director, Financial Engineer (Equity Pricing)

Responsibilities

  • Design, contextualize, price, market and execute Equity derivative solutions with a focus on Institutional and non-flow pods across Asia -ex Japan.
  • Interact with Clients, Sales, Trading, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Quants and Research to deliver meaningful solutions.
  • Liaise with the US, Europe, and Japan to coordinate the effort and promote best practices.
  • Understand and identify business opportunities.
  • Supervise junior structurer.

Profile required

  • Result driven mindset.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills together with strict attention to detail,
  • At least 5 years' experience with strong understanding of Equity Derivatives products and associated risks. Knowledge of QIS strategies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of programming, Python scripting and other programming languages.
  • Strong autonomy. Ability to work with multiple functional groups in a cohesive manner.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex products in a clear concise manner.

Department Description:

MARK/SPS is the financial engineering team driving financial engineering activities across the market activities (pricing, trade ideas, central structuring, advisory and product marketing) across all products. Our financial engineering expertise is highly successful and globally recognized. Fully coordinated advisory, product and marketing deliveries: bringing just ONE Global MArkets team in front of clients. Product continuum, flow and non-flow vanilla to flow and non-flow exotics.
The candidate will be part of the Cross Asset Financial Engineering team within SG Global Markets. More specifically he/she will take the lead in designing, pricing and marketing Equity Derivatives solutions to Institutional clients and non-flow pods in Asia.
