Responsibilities

The Analyst will work in a team which is highly regarded both within the organization and in the Italian market, having arranged a series of first class transactions both in the renewable and infrastructure sectors.

The Analyst will benefit from a sustained workflow and a friendly team spirit which creates a perfect atmosphere for an individual who is willing to learn and grow.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the team through all phases of the origination and marketing phases (reputational checks, conflict clearance, preparation of pitching / marketing material, etc.)
  • Financial modeling: working on and analyzing cash flow models and running sensitivities
  • Reviewing due diligence materials (market, technical, insurance, legal, tax)
  • Support in the structuring of the transactions: drafting/reviewing the term sheet and reviewing the key features of the financing documentation
  • Supporting the team with respect to all aspects of the credit process, including preparation of credit applications, internal rating and profitability tools etc.
  • Portfolio management activities (waiver, amendments, annual reviews etc.)
  • Update of all the internal monitoring tools
  • Tracking and monitoring the business unit’s results
  • New client on-boarding and periodic KYC check

     

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economic Sciences
  • A previous experience in project finance would be appreciated
     

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English
     

Operational, technical & soft skills:

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office

     

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Italy is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
