Responsibilities

At the end of SGSS (Societe Generale Securities Services) activities, the Client Billing department offers the opportunity to discover and explore the different banking businesses.

You will operate in a rapidly changing operational environment, with a team responsible for producing customer invoices, collecting them and reconciling its activities with the bank’s accounting system.

Among experts, you will be able to: discover the activity, participate in the smooth running of the 2024 Local and transversal Client Billing roadmap and prove yourself by bringing added value to the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, optimize and automate the team’s processes as well as exploit the data available for the purpose of restoring and continuously improving activities serving our internal and external partners (Clients) via new technology and low code tools such as Power BI & Alteryx
  • Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the team’s initiatives and projects, both locally and across the board
  • Perform various reports and analyzes around the team’s different activities
  • Strengthen innovation and data-driven mindset within the team

A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.

Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree with a specialization in Data Science and/or Project Management
  • A previous experience in a similar position would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English

Operational, technical & soft skills:

  • Strong appetite for Business Intelligence tools and a data-driven mindset
  • Good team spirit and the desire to work in a team
  • Good communication skills and presentation
  • Proficiency in Power BI & Alteryx
  • Proficiency in the Office Pack


The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin November 1st, 2026, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
