V.I.E. Client On-boarding Project Manager
Responsibilities
The Client On-boarding department within SG Securities Services in Luxembourg works closely with our clients and internal departements in order to accompany the on-boarding projects (migrations in, mergers, fund launches, restructuring, mergers, liquidations, migrations out, etc.). The team is composed of 10 project managers working in UCITS and Private Equity projects.
The purpose of the VIE is to be part of the Project Clients Team (PCL) by supporting the project managers in their day-today tasks. She/he will help them to follow up and coordinate funds events with our clients (asset managers). This position is a crucial link between clients, relationship managers and operational teams (Fund Administration, Transfer Agent, Custody, Legal, Invoice team, etc). She/he will be a point of contact for clients, operational teams and will work with all business lines.
During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
- To support the project managers in their day-to-day tasks
- To facilitate the coordination between the client and the business lines during fund events such as fund launch, liquidation
or migration - To use Lean Six Sigma tools to review and improve the process
- To design and maintain qualitative and quantitative monitoring of these projects
- To report to the stakeholders and to the management
- To escalate if necessary

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Business, Finance or Project Management
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in French
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- You have a good knowledge on Microsoft Office (World, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge in security services (Fund Administration/Custody/Transfer Agent)
- Knowledge on MS Project and Power BI will be appreciated
- Highly motivated and reliable
- Open-minded with willingness to learn
- Good state of mind: teamworking player and a sense of common results
- Able to effectively perform different tasks depending on need
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Pro-activeness and capacity to think out of the box
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxembourg is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
