V.I.E. Client Relationship Assistant
Responsibilities
The Client Relationship Management team is in charge maintaining the deal structure from credit facilities, pre-paid forwards, variable funding notes . The Client Relationship Management team supports the Distribution, and Credit team for Premium tier clients across Agency and Principal for all financng asset classes. The team also acts as the central point of contact for clients once This team serves as cross-functional and technical experts overseeing Premium Client relationships operationally and actively driving process efficiency for SG’s premium clients. Through proactive monitoring of operational processes, the team will identify trends/spikes in client intensity and remediate issues before client escalation. Holistic client ownership is demonstrated through continuous control monitoring, root cause analysis and the design/implementation of innovative technology-driven solutions. The team is responsible for ensuring the continued evolution of SG’s operational/technology offering and alignment with the needs of our Premium Client relationships. Supporting day-to-day execution of transactions, including due diligence, valuation analysis, and the involvement in negotiating of contracts and other agreements; working with senior management and deal team leaders.
As a VIE, your main responsibilities will include:
- Monitor all incoming emails from all counterparties as well as internal stakeholders
- Retrieve and update information related to client portfolios
- Run analysis reports for deals to ensure deal guidelines are met
- Liaise and collect hedge fund documents for risk management referential review
- Update position valuations in collateral management system for hedge funds, private equity, equities, loans and bonds
- Process documents requiring signatures for closing of transactions
- Process entries related to financing activities such as deal set ups, data updates and analysis of collateral management
Adhoc projects such as data compilations for business discoveries; building programs to help streamline processes - coding to help build process flows

Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in finance
- A previous experience in finance/banking would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Operational, technical & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
Programming and building macros to help streamline processes
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
