V.I.E. Financial Analyst
Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller, you will contribute to core accounting processes, including account reconciliations, analytical review, investigation, documentation of accounting entries and review the accuracy of processes to standards. You will be involved in strengthening the quality and automation of financial reporting and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes. Tasks and responsibilities :
- Manage and analyze large volumes of accounting data
- Support closing and reconciliation processes
- Develop and maintain automation routines (VBA / Excel / Alteryx)
- Improve existing processes and reduce manual workload
- Build control tools and reporting frameworks
- Perform regular reconciliation of balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial data
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements and investigate variances or unusual movements
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing data quality, automation, and efficiency in accounting production
- Support internal and external audit requests by providing analysis and documentation

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics, Finance or Mathematics
- A previous experience in Finance would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Handling large datasets (Excel / CSV / databases) and strong analytical and structuring skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Strong IT-oriented mindset with the ability to handle data processing and automation tasks
- Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
Proficiency in tools such as VBA/macros, Alteryx, and other data manipulation solutions
- Process improvement mindset (automation-driven)
- Organized, rigorous, and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
