Responsibilities

You will work with sales, pricing, legal, tax and operations teams to lanch new structured note issuances for various clients in the Americas.

You will help sales and engineering teams to create, review and validate new trade documents pertaining to structured notes, warrants and OTC trades.

You will use your programming skills to develop new templates for trade documents and to further automate our processes.

Your focus will primarily be on equity derivatives, but you may also work on hybrid derivatives that cover multiple asset classes.

This opportunity will allow you to gain experience working on a trading floor and will teach you knowledge about exotic derivatives.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the structured notes/warrants issuance workflow
  • Support Sales and Engineering teams in reviewing and validating trade documentation
  • Develop automated templates and tools to manage the day to day process
  • Participate in various projects and tasks that help streamline and enhance the AMER platform’s structured product offerings
  • Back up pricing team to use derivatives models and pricing tools evaluate custom investment and hedging solutions

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
  • A previous experience on the trading floor would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Have a good understanding of financial mathematics
  • Be comfortable with revewing legal documentation 
  • Have good computer programming skills (Python, VBA Excel)
  • Have a good team spirit and capacity to work in a team
  • Have a strong motivation to be successful
  • Have a strong commitment
  • Have a high level of curiosity
  • Be easy to work with

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin May 1st, 2026, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
