V.I.E. Junior Credit Analyst
Responsibilities
Within Société Générale Corporate and Investmentbanking you will join as a VIE the Financial Crime Unit Department in Frankfurt.
The local Financial Crime team supports all business units in the Frankfurt branch (> 500 employees) regarding Financial crime risks, such as AML/CTF, Sanctions & Embargo and Anti Bribery & Corruption.
Business units covered are as follows: Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA), Global Markets (MARK), Global Transactions & Payment Services (GTPS) and Securities Services (SGSS).
You will be responsible for the credit management and monitoring of a portfolio of Corporate clients:
- Preparation of corporate counterparty credit analysis to include (but not limited to) industry dynamics, business profile, management strategy, financial position and projections, including non-standard situations e.g. weak borrower or security structure, new client, highly structured facility
- Proposal of Corporate Counterparty Credit Ratings
- Participation to “Watchlist” discussions and provision of recommendations in connection with clients within the portfolio
- Review of credit applications received from overseas branches and subsidiaries seeking approval for exposure to local subsidiaries of clients of Corporate Coverage teams
- Preparation of credit memoranda in connection with breaches/amendment of covenants, general facility amendments and excess requests
- Liaison with the relevant business line (or Corporate Coverage team) & Group Legal in connection with the preparation of ISDA and other documentation
- Administration of the credit process and follow up of conditions of approval
- Participation in administrative tasks

Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
- A previous experience in compliance (e.g. KYC, S&E, AML) or project management would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English with excellent writting skills
- German language skills are an advantage
Operational, technical & soft skills:
- Strong writing and research skills as well as attention to detailGood communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint proficiency
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Germany is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
