V.I.E. Junior Financial Analyst
Responsibilities
The DFIN/FNA (Financing and Advisory Business Performance Analysis) supports the GLBA (Global Banking and Advisory) and GTPS (Global Transaction/Pmt Services) businesses as the provider of actionable financial reports and analysis to assist the business in steering the financial performance of the Americas. In this end, FNA is responsible for the monthly Performance management reporting, analysis, and second-level control of NBI, Balance Sheet, Costs, Headcount, and a variety of rations. In addition, FNA is responsible for the forecasting and yearly budgeting process.
Responsibilities:
• Preparing Monthly Financial Performance Reports and Dashboards for the Business Lines and Sub Business Lines tracking the main financial indicators (including, but not limited to, NBI, RWA, Cost of Risk, direct and allocated costs, headcount…)
• Monitoring the SGAS IB Fees with regular reconciliation of the figures to the GL to ensure data quality, accuracy, and completeness of the GL. Liaising with the accounting teams on various issues identified. On a monthly basis, producing Fees Reporting to the Local Senior Management
• Prepare Client level reporting for NBI and NCR
• Performing ad-hoc financial analysis for the needs of the Business Lines, the Senior Management, Regulators (FED or ECB) or External Financial Auditors
• Heavy involvement on the automation project to improve current daily/weekly/monthly processes with time-efficient methods
• Involvement in the Budget and Strategic Review process

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
- A previous experience in Financial Services would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English and strong overall communication skills when exposed to team/department managers
Operational, technical & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office (Strong Excel skills are important)
- Experience in PBI would be a plus
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in New York is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
