V.I.E. Junior Originator – Debt Capital Markets Corporates
Responsibilities
Our SG DCM Corporate Origination team in Frankfurt advises German and Austrian clients in their debt market funding and hybrid capital raising activities. In this highly competitive environment a close proximity to global capital markets and a deep understanding of our clients as well as the underlying industry dynamics are key.
As V.I.E. you will provide support to the senior team members in all aspects of their activities, with a strong focus on the preparation of client pitches, daily updates as well as maintaining the databases of the team. You will closely cooperate with the other DCM support teams in London, Paris, Milan, Madrid and New York.
- Prepare frequent client presentations, written market and pricing updates and client marketing documents under the supervision of senior originators
- Maintain and develop databases and tools to follow market activity
- Conduct analysis on market trends, investor demand, transactions, etc.
- Prepare internal analysis and presentations for the benefit of the full DCM Corporates team
- Assist in the execution of DCM mandates
- Provide support on internal / administrative tasks (reporting, pipeline, budget, management presentations, monitoring of league tables, etc.)

Kindly note that it is also mandatory to provide us with a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation before the assignment start date. No VIE mission will start without this document.

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduated with a Master degree from a Business/Engineering School or University in finance or economics.
- A previous experience (e.g. as trainee) in Debt Capital Markets, Securitization or Financial Engineering
Language skills:
You are fluent in English and have an intermediate level in German
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good quantitative & Financial skills
- Excellent command of MS Office (Excel, Power-Point, Word)
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
