VIE Management Support Analyst
Responsibilities
Within the GLobal BAnking department (‘GLBA’), the Structured Solutions and Leasing department (GLBA/STS/SSL) aims to offer structured financing solutions for different categories of tangible and intangible assets to the bank's main clients. In this context, Société Générale Luxembourg Credit Insurance (or ‘SG LuCI’), the Société Générale Group's credit insurance company, insures Société Générale Group entities in Europe and in the UK.
The main tasks of the Management Support Analyst will be to participate (i) to the commercial activity of SG LuCI, in cooperation with the Business Manager, and (ii) to the financial monitoring of SG LuCI, in cooperation with the Chief Financial and Risk Officer.
The Management Support Analyst is responsible for the following tasks:
• Underwriting
- Prepare the enquiries to the SG Group subsidiaries and branches via the broker BPL
- Checking that indicative offers match the captive's risk appetite and reinsurance constraints
- Synthesis of the analysis of the credit risk associated with the policies underwritten
• Finance
- Control of the financial data
- Production of reports for the SG Group
- Analytical review for the parent company
• Insurance tax reporting (IPT)
- Production of monthly reporting
• Portfolio management
- Preparation of monthly activity monitoring reports
- Input of the policies into the portfolio monitoring tool
- Contribution to the improvement of the portfolio monitoring tool (creation of new indicators, new reports, etc.)

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master’s degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
- A previous experience in Audit and/or Accounting would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
