V.I.E. Model Risk Manager Junior
Responsibilities
This position is within Model Risk Oversight team, which is part of wider Model Risk Management Department. Model RIsk Oversight is a central team responsible for model governance and oversight over model risk for all models used in Ayvens. The team, as well as entire MRM Department, acts as a centralized second line of defence for model risk and communicates with various stakeholders across Ayvens Risk and Finance functions, as well as within Société Générale’s Model Risk Management department
Responsabilities:
- Improve the way how the central Model Risk Oversight team communicates information to relevant stakeholders across different geographies and functions
- Support improvement of the enterprise-wide model inventory, including periodic checks on changes, completeness and consistency of recorded information
- Further develop our reporting capacity, through the creation of regular reports and insights
- Maintain and further develop dedicated Sharepoint used for MRM stakeholder communication and collaboration within the Ayvens Group
- Further develop model risk oversight capacity through automation of dashboards and monthly checks
- Provide guidance and support to various stakeholders on the MRM framework and model inventory processes

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics, Finance or similar
- A previous experience in risk management would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Ability to work independently while also thriving as collaborative team player in a diverse, international environment
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Amsterdam is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
