V.I.E. Sales Assistant Fixed Income Credit
Responsibilities
The candidate will work in a challenging and demanding working environment, supporting the Sales staff of the team responsible for Fixed Income and Currencies - Credit in their daily work. The candidate will have contact to institutional clients.
Responsibilities:
- Price and book cash & derivative products (bonds, CDS, IRS, Swaptions, etc.)
- Manage client orders for primary and secondary markets
- Prepare trade ideas by involving trading & sales and communicate with the clients
- Coordinate client on boarding throughout “Know your customer” process and follow up
- To liaise with Back office and Middle office to ensure the post trade process is smooth, and to resolve any issues/problems that arise; support the team on sharing trade ideas, work on market comments
- Ensure all client details are accurately captured and updated in internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and internal files
- Ensure all clients are pooled in correct distribution lists in the CRM tool
- Coordinating invitation process for road shows, research events, etc and follow up
- Support feedback gathering for several polls and investment ideas
- Adjust & book (depending on qualification) trade tickets in the relevant trade capture systems

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply for a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization Finance
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Very good command of MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Great communication skills (written and orally)
- Very good numeracy & analytical skills
- Energetic and motivated
- Able to work in an international environment
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Germany is to begin September 1st, 2025, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
