V.I.E. Sales Assistant Fixed Income Rates
Responsibilities
The V.I.E. will work in a challenging and demanding working environment in the field of Global Markets by supporting the Sales staff of the team responsible for Fixed Income and Currencies in their daily work. The candidate will have contact to institutional clients.
During your mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:
- Price and book cash & derivative products (bonds, CDS, IRS, Swaptions, etc.)
- Manage client orders for primary and secondary markets
- Prepare trade ideas by involving trading & sales and communicate with the clients
- Coordinate client on boarding throughout “Know your customer” process and follow up
- To liaise with Back office and Middle office to ensure the post trade process is smooth, and to resolve any issues / problems that arose. Support the team on sharing trade ideas, work on market comments
- Ensure all client details are accurately captured and updated in internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and internal files
- Ensure all clients are pooled in correct distribution lists in the CRM tool
- Coordinating invitation process for road shows, research events, etc. and follow up
- Support feedback gathering for several polls and investment ideas
Adjust & book (depending on qualification) trade tickets in the relevant trade capture systems

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
A previous experience in a similar position would be appreciated
Language skills:
Fluent in English
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Strong command of MS Office (especially Excel); interest or experience in programming, automation, or AI tools (e.g. VBA, Python)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a proactive, solution oriented mindset
- Ability to think creatively and propose improvements to existing processes and tools
- Strong communication skills in a fast paced, international environment
- Highly motivated, curious, and eager to combine finance, technology, and innovation
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
