V.I.E. Structured finance officer - products and solutions

You will be part of the Global Markets group in Tokyo which brings together the Equities, Fixed Income & Currencies capabilities with the objective of providing investors with one integrated multi-asset market solutions team. You will join the Structuring for Products and Solutions team with a main focus on engineering new solutions accross asset classes, to be distributed in Japan by our Cross Asset sales team.

Responsabilities:

• Contribute to the production of the daily activity of Cross Asset financial products In Japan
• Liaise and negotiate with Trading to price and design suitable solutions
• Assist Sales in building client pitches, designing products and pushing our product offer
• Participate to the design custom strategies (QIS), perform backtesting and performance attribution
• Help building a robust and automated pricing platform by improving our current systems.

• Work in collaboration with Research, Trading, Strategies & Operations teams

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Engineering School or University with a specialization in Mathematics or Finance

Language skills:

• Fluent in English, Japanese language competencies is a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• A previous experience in Structuring would be appreciated
• Appetite and knowledge on capital markets
• Ability to adapt quickly to challenging situations and find innovative solutions
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office

• Sound coding skills

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Tokyo is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
