V.I.E. Structured Solutions & Leasing Analyst
Responsibilities
The Structured Solutions & Leasing (SSL) business line provides clients with tailored asset-based financing, structured leasing solutions, and capital optimization products. The team works closely with corporate clients, financial institutions, and internal stakeholders to design and execute innovative financing solutions that support investment, working capital, and strategic growth.
Responsibilities :
1. Transaction Analysis & Structuring
- Perform financial modelling and credit analysis to assess transaction feasibility
- Contribute to the structuring of leasing, asset-based financing, and bespoke funding solutions
- Assist in preparing pricing scenarios, cash flow simulations, and risk/return analysis
2. Client Support & Origination - Support relationship managers in preparing commercial pitches and client presentations
- Conduct market and industry research to identify business opportunities
- Participate in internal discussions on deal strategy and client needs
3. Execution Support - Assist in drafting term sheets, memos, and transaction documentation
- Coordinate with legal, risk, compliance, and operations teams during the execution process
- Support due diligence processes and liaise with external advisors when needed
4. Portfolio Monitoring - Monitor existing transactions and client performance
- Prepare regular reporting (KPIs, risk metrics, exposure tracking)
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and early-warning analyses

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
A previous experience in a similar position would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English (written & spoken).
- Additional languages (e.g., Italian) are a plus.
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical abilities
- Solid understanding of corporate finance, structured finance, and/or leasing principles
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of VBA or Python is a plus
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Autonomous, rigorous, and proactive mindset
- International outlook and interest in cross-border finance
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Milano is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.
The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
