V.I.E. Sustainable Solutions

Development of the offering of sustainable investment, hedging, and financing solutions for Global Markets Activities.

Responsibilities :

• Review and maintain the list of proprietary and external indices embedding ESG criteria; you will be expected to analyze their methodology and create marketing documentation. You may also contribute with the rest of the team to the construction of such proprietary indices embedding ESG criteria
• Monitor and contribute to develop the overall sustainable structured solutions offering: notably ensuring compliance with procedures, monitoring volumes and commercial activity, monitoring and helping to develop new partnerships
• Contribute to assisting the rest of the team in specific quantitative analysis requests, notably having access to various sources of ESG data and contents
• Participate in sustainable finance market studies, monitor the development of the sustainability sector, and monitor regulatory or political developments related to ESG issues
• Occasionaly, collaborate with the ESG Advisory team and participate in Societe Generale's cross-functional projects in the field of sustainable finance
• Prepare and participate in trainings and committees bringing together the ESG ambassadors within the sales, financial engineering and trading teams of the Global Markets Division
• Prepare the newsletters and share with the community any relevant communication related to ESG

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance or Sustainable Finance
• A previous experience in Finance would be appreciated
   

Language skills:

• Mandatory: Fluent in English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

• Good communication and presentation skills
• Management of complex projects
• Proficient command of MS Office, notably Excel
• Coding in Python is a plus
   

The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Stockholm is to begin June 1st, 2026, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
