Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Prime Service Product, Asia Pacific, this role is aimed to provide support across Cash Equity product. The main responsibilities can be summarised as follows:

  • Provide Support to the Regional Head of Prime Service Product, to help the growth and facilitation of the Equity Prime Brokerage Business in Asia
  • Partner, promote and manage coordination across Cash Equity teams globally.
  • Work alongside Sales, Business Management Office, Support functions and Business line head to design and deliver business plans.
  • Monitor business performance, profitability and scarce resources consumption.
  • Liaise with internal partners to deliver control and service improvements.
  • Ensure client excellence is delivered at all levels of the organization.

Profile required

  • Investment banking/ financial services industry knowledge, with 10+ years of Cash Equity Prime Brokerage experience 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact and communicate convincingly at all levels with the key decision makers in a variety of business lines, management and control functions across the bank.
  • Ability to be able to work independently on multiple conflicting priorities and under pressure until completion.

Department Description

The Global Markets functions is a trusted partner to external clients (Corporates, Financial institutions and Asset Managers) in market activities, offering a cross-expertise in Research, Investment and Risk Solution Execution and Prime Services.

Prime Services and Clearing is a business line belonging to Markets department proposing equity derivatives execution & clearing and all different ancillary services such as Securities Prime brokerage, FX Prime Brokerage, OTC clearing, financing. Within Prime Services and Clearing, the Products team is in charge of developing and promoting all the different Prime services, working closely with partners, in particular:Prime Sales, IT, Operations, Risk Management, Business Management Office, Legal and Compliance.
