Responsibilities

As Working Student you will support the Global Transaction Banking Germany Team which is responsible for Payment & Cash Management and Trade Finance topics. Managing client relationships and day-today-processing is part of the task. We are offering various positions in the following areas: Transaction Management, Client Management and Regulatory.

Change the Bank: Project Management

  • Support the creation of a database listing  client profiles, i.e. capture all relevant GTB relationship data in one place – which products are used by which client at which price?
  • Collect from systems and colleagues client subscription data, existing client product agreements, pricing agreements etc.
  • Determine together with Senior Sales Managers possible price increases to enhance profitability of GTB Germany
  • Update the existing Standard Price & Services List to incorporate the findings from the client pricing analysis
  • Prepare client communication for pricing amendments together with Senior Sales Managers
  • Participate in implementation and remediation projects which are led/managed by GTB Germany
  • Analyse, documents and optimise processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation
  • Support the implementation of a management information system providing regular reporting to the GTB Leadership team

Run the Bank: Day-to-Day Operation

  • Support in day-to-day transaction management, i.e. guarantee issuance, payment processing
  • Execute data quality related checks
  • Create reports for the management and regulators (regulatory reporting)
  • Prepare client presentation in collaboration with Sales Managers
  • Data Management

Profile required

Experience and Technical Skills

  • University studies in Business Law, Business Administration / Finance or equivalent
  • Fluency in both, German and English (written and oral) is essential; French is of advantage
  • Profound MS Office skills
  • First knowledge in Banking and regulatory environment
