Working Student Middle Office Trade Finance (w/m/d)
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities:
A broad variety of tasks are to be performed in close collaboration with local- and international stakeholders – this will allow you to:
- Learn the specifics of International Guarantees and Letters of Credit
- Gain a detailed understanding of the compliance process in international trade
- Understand risk factors and how they are handled / mitigated
- Be involved in the Sales activities by preparing internal business reports or other relevant statistics to support commercial and financial business performance analysis
- Support the local management in the desk supervision by performing ad hoc transversal or strategic studies
Profile required
Experience and technical skills:
- Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent
- Interest in trade finance products (letters of credit, guarantees, etc.)
- Fluency in English or German, an additional language is of advantage
- Highly proficient with MS Office
Personal abilities and competencies:
- Strong capacity for teamwork with high level of commitment and responsibility
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse environment
- Client oriented work approach
- Well organized with very good attention to detail

Your environment
The desk in our branch in Frankfurt is promoting, managing and developing Trade Finance solutions to our clients. Furthermore it is actively acquiring new business prospects in close cooperation with the global Trade Finance network and related departments in the bank.
We are looking for a Working Student to support the Deal Facilitation Team within the Trade Finance Middle Office Team in Frankfurt. You will support the handling of transaction requests and associated tasks as requested to us from our clients or the international network.
