Are you interested in taxation matters in a large bank? Are you committed to driving projects and abiding by our Code of Tax Conduct? As a Tax Expert in Societe Generale, you will be working at Group level as well as with clients - in France or internationally.

Group Tax Expert
Your goal? To ensure the bank to completely fulfil its obligations. You will have a broad spectrum of missions. You will ensure that management’s reporting and payment obligations are met and provide tax assistance to all business areas. As an adviser, you will approve all operations that might impact the Group and help control tax risks. You will also answer the call to handle tax audits and tax litigation proceedings. For maximum efficiency, you will lead ongoing legal and regulatory monitoring.

Tax Consultant
You will have two missions. The first is to work with sales teams who will request your advice and assistance for their clients on tax issues, including on wealth management. The second is to deliver expert tax advice to the teams in charge of developing new products, in order to make sure that their tax obligations are met.

You should be...

A person with integrity

Someone with strong analytical skills

Knowledgeable in tax law

Fluent in English

Master’s with a focus on taxation and at least 3 years of experience, ideally within the financial department of a large company
Education: Master’s or PhD in law and taxation of assets and wealth structuring 2-3 years of experience at a law firm specialising in taxation of assets and wealth structuring
