Risk Analyst (PSE)
Responsibilities
We are seeking to hire a skilled Third Party Risk Expert to help us with the growth of our Risk Management Division. As part of our Operational Risk function, you will play an esential role in providing a Second Line of Defense oversight of the Operational Risk Framework to ensure it is appropriately embedded within the entity’s business activities, management processes and governance structures.
Specifically, you will be required to:
· Be responsible for excellence in delivery of the missions under supervision - primarily understanding the requirements and expectations, regular communication, adequate quality reviews and adequacy of the service provided to onshore partners;
· Challenge the Ramos IDs at Entry and Intermediate levels aligning with the Outsourced Services Check & Challenge methodology owned by RISQ, and publish memos within the expected timelines;
· Explain and defend the recommendations arising from the Checks & Challenges memos to 1st line of defense, 2nd line of defense and occasionally 3rd line of defence ;
· Work closely with RISQ NFR and SG GSC in India;
· Support the assessment of impact on Outsourced Services Challenge framework considering the organizational changes, activities, IT systems, or new products;
· Support the implementation of changes to the Business Unit/Outsourced Services framework considering the Checks & Challenges methodology;
· Contribute to the production of indicators;
· Contribute to data collection;
· Participate in change management;
· Use various tools such as RAMOS, MyActions, Myincident, Sourcing Hub, Rafale, PowerBi, CUBE;
· Maintain and develop constructive relationship with stakeholders and internal partners;
· Contribute to establish a culture of proactiveness, assertiveness, transparency, expertise, compliance, responsibility, exemplarity, and discipline within the team.
Profile required
· Strong understanding of operational risk for different banking functions and related control frameworks
· Knowledge of key topics related to Outsourcing, notably contract reading and understanding
· Hands on experience in interacting with the First Line of Defense or similar
· Must be able to: properly use and interact with the subject matter experts from the BU/SU and other 1st line of defense /2nd line of defense and properly organize and present ideas in a concise and structured manner, both in writing (memo) and orally
· Strong understanding of controls methodology and strong understanding of risks, processes and controls
· Strong understanding of business risks and market risk area
· Ability to comprehend data and prepare reports basis the understanding. Knowledge of tools related to operational risk management
· Strong delivery management skills
· Advanced excel is an added advantage but not a mandatory requirement. Should be proficient in Microsoft Word/PPT/Excel;
· High level of autonomy, strong analytical, writing and presentation skills, data analysis
· Strong interpersonal and coordination skills to interact with numerous persons in various departments on a regular basis
· Advanced level of French and English
