Job Description
As a Corporate Client Coverage Junior Relationship Manager in SG CIB, you will be responsible for assisting Senior Relationship Managers (“RMs”) and the Corporate Client Coverage team in providing corporate banking services as well as investment banking products to corporate clients located in Korea.
Responsibilities for Junior Relationship Manager
- Support senior RMs in marketing and sales activities towards clients for business opportunity origination with either existing clients or prospects
- Provide assistance to ad-hoc requests from overseas client coverage teams and product teams globally
- Conduct regular client monitoring for any potential risk factors and performance analyses
- Prepare internal memos (e.g. pipeline reports, client/internal call memos, ESG reviews, strategy/action plan memos) for reporting to the management of SG Korea and regional office
- Perform client due diligence in line with internal compliance and regulatory procedures
- Manage accounts onboarding process in compliance with Know Your Client (“KYC”)
Profile required
Requirements for Junior Relationship Manager
- Hand on Corporate Banking or Investment Banking experience is preferred
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Korean
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Effective communications and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent Team Player

You will grow to become a relationship manager with key learning points in:
- Developing relationship with strategic clients, focusing on Corporate & Investment Banking and market-related products;
- Understanding and meeting global corporate clients needs, helping them manage their operating cycles;
- Maximising profitability and proactively optimising use of scarce resources such as RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) and balance-sheet of SG Group;
- Gaining business through cross-selling and synergies in close collaboration with product specialists in different locations, and
- Monitoring & alerting potential risk of the clients and learning & assisting in credit processes
