Software Engineer LOAN IQ – M/F/D
Responsibilities
Mission:
You will join a new Feature Team based in Warsaw, with peers located in France and India. With 11 colleagues and your direct manager you will maintain and develop Loan IQ – an application used by the Structured Finance teams. As a Software Engineer, your role will focus on creating the code of highest quality and supporting the application performance in production environment. You will work in Agile environment and apply the software craftsmanship best practices.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Understanding business requirements (in cooperation with business analysts) and define technical solution to implement them
- Ensuring that solutions are compliant with architects’ recommendations and production requirements
- Developing code by applying software craftsmanship best practices and quality standards in continuous delivery spirit
- Performing unit and end-to-end tests all along the development and before the go-lives
- Building and maintaining technical documentation
- Designing, monitoring, and setting up KPIs aligned with business expectations
- Ensuring L2 production support - “You build it, you run it”
- Taking active participation in continuous improvement activities
Profile required
Studies & experience:
- University degree, preferably in IT
- 2-4 years of professional experience in software engineering
Language skills:
- Fluency in English
- Knowledge of French and Polish is nice to have
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
- Good knowledge of Java, Angular, Rest API, SQL
- Functional knowledge in banking/finance or structured finance is a plus
- Agile methodology & Software Craftsmanship mindset
