Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer you will be based in Poland, but the people who will become your closest business partners are in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York. They are a global player on FX, Rates and Credit markets, providing financial solutions to investors around the clock. You will be providing them agile development and support capability for volatility products (FX options and exotic) on pricing. This opportunity will allow you to be part of a team with a variety of skills. You will need to understand the business line challenges to propose and build adapted and innovative solutions.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Global Application Development: Maintaining and enhancing our global trading applications, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of our business partners in Paris, Hong Kong, and New York.
- Cloud-Native Solutions: Developing and deploying cloud-native applications that address new business requirements, leveraging the latest technologies.
- Support & Innovation: Taking ownership of the solutions you build, supporting legacy systems, and collaborating with global teams to ensure continuous improvement.
- Best Practices & Craftsmanship: Applying software craftsmanship, including microservice architecture, domain-driven design, and automated CI/CD, to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Trader Collaboration: Working closely with traders to understand their challenges, gather feedback, and designing solutions that drive business success.
- Watch Duty: Be prepared to participate in watch duty, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems around the clock.
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- Experience: You have minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL and Azure. Familiarity with Python, Java, or JavaScript is a plus.
- Educational Background: You have a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Tech-Savvy: You are curious about new technologies, eager to learn, and ready to dive into complex problems.
- Adaptable: You excel at multitasking, handling context switches, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- DevOps Enthusiast: You embrace the DevOps culture and are committed to continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proactive: You’re not afraid to speak up, challenge the status quo, and drive positive change.
