Responsibilities

The Information Technology Department (GBTO) has worldwide responsibility for supplying Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS) Divisions with the IT resources necessary for them to operate under competitive conditions in terms of technological standards, service quality and cost. GBTO is composed of diverse and talented professionals who translate ideas into action every day by combining the strength of its expertise in IT with a deep understanding of the investment banking business and regulations. GBTO has a threefold responsibility as follows: (1) Deliver innovative IT Solutions that enable GBIS to achieve its business objectives. (2) Maintain a highly resilient, flexible, cost effective and well controlled production service for our business applications, systems, and infrastructure. (3) Facilitate entry into new markets, compliance with regulatory needs, growth in business volumes and add operational efficiency improvements in our overall front to back processing environment. GBTO achieves this while promoting a collaborative, innovative, and fun environment for its IT professionals.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

TTP (Trading Tools Principal) is an IT group working for the Front and middle Office. It is a proximity development team that works hand in hand with equity derivative trading desks and operational teams, to develop tools that suit their needs, and bring reactivity to face any production issues on existing tools. Our mission is to transform legacy systems to server base applications, with strong, sustainable, and easy-to-maintain architecture.

Major skills required:

  • Exposing and consuming Rest API (Java).
  • Developing Web front end (Angular or React.
  • Service oriented application architecture knowledge.
  • Knowledge on Databases (MSSQL/Oracle/PgSQL)
  • Using of standard tools for source version control systems (Git), unit testing, continuous integration.

Profile required

Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Professional experience in Object oriented programming in Java/Spring
    Professional experience in web development in NodeJS – Angular.
  • Professional experience in SQL (MSSQL/PgSQL)

Desired:

  • Experience in unit testing and agile development.
  • Experience in DevOps (CICD, CMRM)
  • Experience in Python programming is a plus.
  • Knowledge of financial products is a plus. 


Experience Needed:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a software applications developer.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience. The role is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and includes a competitive benefits package including 401(k) plan with company match, Medical/Dental/Vision, and other benefits for fertility, wellness, student loans and commuters.
