Java Software Engineer

Your journey will comprise shifting between the next assignments:
The team is part of the Equity Prime Brokerage department, which oversees the life cycle and management for DPS (Dynamic Portfolio Swap) products and is present in Paris, Bucharest, Montreal & Hong Kong. We provide services and financing that allow our customers to exchange the performance of an equity portfolio against payment of interest. These tools integrate booking, product events and payment for operations, corporate actions, valuation, position management, client reporting, access to a client platform (SG Market).
Specifically, you will be required to:

Design and develop new features front to back as part of an agile/scrum team;

Ensure the delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions using modern development practices such as clean code, automated testing, monitoring, alerting and secure by design;

Provide L3 support on application in production environment, when needed;

Drive innovation and contribute with new ideas for the existing architecture, services and processes;

Maintain and improve the continuous integration and delivery environment;

Maintain a close relationship with the international team and ensure the delivery of high quality features.

Profile required
-

Solid knowledge of Java 11 at least, Spring, relational database (PostgreSQL), GIT, Maven;

Good knowledge of Java Microservices, Spring Boot, JPA, REST;

Java 21, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK, JavaScript with Angular or React would be a plus;

Hands-on experience with tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins or Github Actions CI/CD Pipelines, JUnit, Jira, Cucumber;

You have a Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent;

Good command of English, both written and spoken with the ability to participate in English-only meetings.
