Market Access Release Manager
Responsibilities
- Release planning: develop and maintain the release schedule, ensuring alignment with external/internal project timelines and business objectives.
- Coordination: facilitate business analysis, communication between development, quality assurance, operational and infrastructure (network, servers) teams to coordinate release activities.
- Documentation: create and maintain release documentation, including functional change, diagram, deployment plans, post release reviews.
- Risk management: identify potential risks and issues related to releases and develop mitigation strategies.
- Quality assurance: ensure all releases meet quality standards and compliance requirement before deployment.
- Continuous improvement: implement and optimize release management processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder management: act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders regarding release status and updates.
Profile required
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, finance or related field.
- Hands on experience in release management, preferably within the financial services or investment banking sector.
- Proficient in release management tools, familiar with agile methodologies, python scripting and Unix environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (scrum master) are a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled release manager to join our market access team within the investment banking division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the release management process of software applications related to market access (external and internal projects). This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and operations, to ensure timely and successful deployments.
You will sit on the trading floor and work closely with the front office users.
