Sales Assistant – Los Angeles
Responsibilities
We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized entry-level professional to provide support to four or five senior salespeople. This is a role with terrific growth and advancement potential, and has a history of internal promotions. Core responsibilities include administrative duties (calendar management, expenses, client communications, database maintenance) as well as business development by coordinating meetings. The right candidate will be a self-starter with strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, successfully handle short deadlines, with outstanding organizational skills and a high level of professionalism. No prior finance knowledge or background required. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in any aspect of customer service.
You will support senior salespeople who interact with institutional money managers to distribute our firm’s world-class research product. These are dynamic senior professionals who often have intense travel and meeting schedules, and need support booking and managing their schedules as well as constant follow-up with our clients. You will have a very intense and demanding work schedule, but the teams are very collaborative and you will have a high level of support from your peers, manager, and your senior salespeople.

As our work aligns with the US financial markets, the standard working hours for this role are 5:30 am - 2:30 pm Pacific Time.
