TRAINEE: Global Market Marketer
Responsibilities
- Based in Hong Kong, reporting to the Global Head of Marketing Asia Pacific, the person will be in charge of delivering cross-asset marketing material supporting APAC Global Markets sales activities (both in English and Mandarin (traditional and simplified)
- Produce marketing material in cooperation with sales and pricing teams, including simulations of investment scenarios and product performance analysis
- Participation to the building of the product offering for each region and clients’ segment
- Liaise with Legal and Compliance departments to develop and maintain Asian compliant marketing and sales documents\
- Organize internal & external events (face-to-face, digitally or hybrid)
- Design, produce and follow-up digital marketing campaigns (Ceros, mailing, videos, etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to facilitate marketing needs & payments, including distribution and creative designs
This position is a 24-month fixed-term trainee contract. To apply please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the contract duration.
Profile required
- Hold a Bachelor or master's degree in financial engineering, Economics or similar
- An emphasis on product development and marketing of investment products and/or structuring of capital markets transactions appreciated
- Strong financial & mathematic skills and event organization & design skills are required
- Accuracy and attention to details
- Creative thinking / idea generating mindset
- Ability to manage complex processes dealing with multiple internal and external resources
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
- Knowledge of PowerBi, VBA & Python (or other programming languages) appreciated
- Good communication skills necessary to interact with all internal & external stakeholders
- Previous experience within financial services is a plus
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (traditional and simplified) is required

Department Description
At the heart of the trading floor, this trainee position will be part of the Global Markets Marketing team. The marketer will support and partner with the Asian salesforce by creating product marketing materials, providing market intelligence and organizing client events. This position is at the crossroads of many different services in Asia e.g. sales, structuring, trading, COO, communication, compliance, legal, etc. It also includes regular cooperation with marketing, sales and structuring teams in other regions.
