The aim of this program is to ease the origination process of deals for the structured finance department. It includes structuration of the deals, their pricing, the management of all regulatory processes as well as addressing reporting needs that help Front Officers take their decision.
There are 6 teams working on Origination program. These teams are client centric and are fully autonomous feature teams working on the same application (Origination Platform), each with their own backlog. We follow Agile SCRUM methodology.
Within the team, your mission will mainly consist of verifying that Agile good practices are well applied, writing user stories using Gherkin methodology, conducting new projects, collaborating with developers and the QA in developing new features respecting the defined framework and end users' expectations. You will ensure support activities on web application aligned with digital transformation principles of the Société Générale Group.
Your future scope of responsibility will cover:
- Building the backlog and roadmap of the team in accordance with the business priorities, the value added and execution constraints
- Studying new features, explicating business requirements, identifying risks and documenting them as per tribe standards.
- Planning and following the execution of the developments, by participating in the slicing and estimations and by being the referent for functional questions.
- Communicating the progress of the team to relevant stakeholders, coordinating the work with other features teams when necessary and raising alerts when needed
- Participating in feature testing, following up bug correction and releases in accordance to CMRM process in place
- Respecting Agile practices and the practices defined by the Chapter Leader
- Contributing to documentation development and maintenance
- Sharing knowledge within program community
- Providing support in production, fixing bugs and enhancing existing features (“You build it, you run it”)
- Animating and participating in SCRUM ceremonies – Sprint of 2 weeks
Profile required
You will be best suited for this role if:
- 3-5 years of experience as a business analyst
- Experience in banking sector (structured finance knowledge is a plus)
- Technical expertise: PostgreSQL, Gherkin methodology
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills and team player’s mindset
- Fluency in English, French is nice to have
