V.I.E. Functional PMO
Responsibilities
We are looking for a V.I.E. Functional Project Management Officer. The future candidate will join the Resources Department, whose mission is to define and implement the operational strategy in the areas of operations and IT. This is delivered by following the guidelines and performance objectives of the General Management of the entity and the AFMO BU in terms of supporting the Corporate and Retail banking professions and setting up and applying tools/processes in order to guarantee the smooth running and efficiency of operations within the bank.
The V.I.E. will mainly provide support to the Deputy General Manager (DGM) in their role as chief of staff by assisting in managing daily priorities and overseeing the implementation and monitoring of strategic projects under their supervision, following the below pillars:
Administrative management:
- Prepare documents required for meetings, reports and presentations using advances Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Ensure the continuity of information management within the DGM-Finance, Resources & General Secretariat, especially in the event of DGM's unavailability
- Coordinate, manage and handle specific tasks shared across multiple entities under the DGM
Work and project monitoring:
- Coordinate and closely monitor the DGM's strategic projects, ensuring progress and regulatory communicating updates on key milestones
- Contribute to preparing progress reports and analyzing financial and statistical data
- Analyze data and provide concise summaries
Operational Support:
- Ensure smooth collaboration with various internal teams to maintain coherence and alignment with objectives

Please note that for the missions outside the European countries, a VISA is necessary. Please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure. Otherwise, we strongly advise you to launch asap the renewal of your passport.
Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
• Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Project Management
• A previous experience in project management and operational support in the banking, finance, or consulting sector would be appreciated
Language skills:
• Fluent in English (B2-C1)
Technical, operational & Soft skills:
• Proficient/Good command of MS Office
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential tasks with professionalism and discretion
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Abidjan is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
