Responsibilities

A part of our Global Transaction Banking (GTB) team based in Warsaw, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic portfolio of clients with a specialization in Trade Finance (TRA). You will play a key role in executing the GBT commercial strategy, contributing to business growth across local and cross-border markets, and driving long-term, value-added client relationships.

Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of TRA clients, aligning with the global and regional GTB strategy.
  • Leading the origination, structuring, and execution of TRA opportunities, while identifying cross-selling potential across GTB products including Cash Management (PCM) and Factoring (SGF).
  • Collaborating with Global Banking (GLBA) coverage team and business line specialists to design and deliver client-centric financing and transaction solutions.
  • Developing and executing a commercial plan and financial trajectory for your portfolio, including forecasting, and tracking key performance indicators such as profitability (NBI), capital allocation (RWA) and liquidity.
  • Acting as a key contact point for clients in the region, ensuring a high level of service and engagement throughout the relationship cycle.
  • Ensuring transactions are executed efficiently and sustainably, with strong risk awareness and full adherence to compliance and governance standards.
  • Supporting local transformation initiatives and contributing to the evolution of GTB products to reflect local market needs.
  • Representing the Warsaw GTB platform internally and externally, reinforcing the institution’s presence in Poland and Western Europe

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

  • You bring in-depth expertise in Trade Finance (TRA), origination and structuring capabilities, regarding both international and domestic products (mainly guarantees and letters of credit), with solid understanding of the broader GTB product landscape (PCM and SGF).
  • You have a strong record in managing complex client relationships within corporate, non-banking financial institutions (NBFI), or banking segments, ideally in the Polish or broader WE market.
  • You are business-driven, strategic, and capable of leading commercial initiatives end-to-end – from idea to execution.
  • You demonstrate strong risk and compliance awareness, coupled with a performance-oriented mindset.
  • You are experienced in working within international frameworks, with the ability to bridge local business realities and global standards.
  • You are fluent in both Polish and English and bring strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, evolving environment and bring a forward-thinking approach to building client value.
  • You have B driving license.
