Responsibilities

Purpose of the Role:

Based in Hong Kong, the selected candidate will work with the Finance Teams for the APAC region including HK, Japan, China, Taiwan, Korea, India... The staff will assist in various capacity, working on financial production, financial performance and analysis & projects. The staff will also directly participate to the management of the operations for the Finance department in the Region with Finance COO. The job therefore implies a certain level of autonomy, cooperation, and organizational skills.

Ideally, the candidate should have experience in the Finance industry or large institutions with an academic background in accounting, finance and/or project management.

The candidate will report to a Regional Manager working in close relation with several teams in HK and throughout Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Run processes as per a predefined Standard Operating Procedure
  • Perform Financial Analysis and Reviews
  • Assist project management (e.g., time tracking)

Candidates with outstanding performance will be considered for early conversion to permanent roles.

Profile required

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate’s Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Technology, or another related field
  • Good knowledge in Microsoft Office applications including Visio
  • Experience in database extraction, transformation and loading is an advantage but not a must
  • English language skills are essential
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a “can-do” attitude and passion for delivery of solutions
  • Ability to handle multiple deadlines, manage work independently and be flexible
