Ihre Aufgaben

s an Analyst in the Real Estate sector team you will support the team in the origination and execution of Investment Banking mandates in the Real Estate sector. This includes a wide variety of tasks, such as company and industry research, financial statement analysis, financial modeling, preparation of client presentations, deal documentation, etc. 

You will be involved in the below tasks with an increasing level of responsibility:

·        You will be a key team member in the day-to-day project execution work for M&A, ECM and cross-product transactions across Europe, working closely with senior team members.

·        You will draft presentation materials, management and Board materials, Memoranda and other presentation for use in M&A, ECM or cross-product transactions or strategic client dialogues.

·        You will build complex financial models for valuation purposes, using all relevant methodologies, including trading and transaction multiples, DCF and LBO.

·        You will evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends.

·        You will prepare company and industry analyses.

·        You will conduct target and / or buyer screenings and analyses, including acquisition capacity analyses as appropriate.

·        You will keep up to date about real estate sector developments as well as M&A, equity and debt related issues

·        You will liaise with (product) experts typically based in Frankfurt, London, Paris and/or New York in the dedicated SG Business Lines

·        You will train and guide interns and VIEs.

Ihr Profil

Experience and technical skills:

·        Excellent Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance or Business Administration

·        Prior internship or first experience in Investment Banking with a leading bank or advisory house

·        Very strong technical and analytical skills

·        Ideally experience with transactions in German-speaking regions and/or in the real estate sector

·        Excellent command and superior user knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

·        Good user knowledge of Bloomberg and CapitalIQ

·        Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken is essential
