Responsibilities

We are seeking a professional who can join Global Banking Service Unit in Société Générale, a global financial institution that aims to support businesses, trades and transformations financially since its foundation in 1864. Societe Generale have been playing a vital role in the economy for over 150 years.

 Primary Objectives:

  • Assist and support the trading (USD rates in particular and by extension will have connection with the JPY team and sales team as well)
  • Learn the Fixed Income flow business from both the trading and sales perspective
  • Understand the workflow of the team and analyse ways the trainee can increase efficiency and accuracy. 

Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:

  • Take on various data reporting and business analysis tasks
  • Learn how to analyse USD and JPY markets and try to highlight trading opportunities
  • Support UST senior trader
  • Develop tools to help the desk (data crunching/data representation, automation of tasks, PL analysis and explanation, reporting, multidimensional risk view)
  • Provide summary of market analysis
  • Help communication (through tools) with sales (reporting, automations, ergonomy of prices)
  • Does not have authority to trade

  • IT abilities (some coding)
