Responsibilities

HR Operation Manager

  • Lead the HR Service Center in India (HRSSC) related topics such as represent Korea at the governance calls, engaging stakeholders in HRSSC, continuous implementation of operational efficiency and train the junior in the team in this regard.
  • Responsible for permanent supervision controls within the perimeter.
  • Supervision of regular or ad-hoc reporting in Korean to the local regulators
  • Lead external/internal audit preparation
  • Participation and contribution to Operational related internal committees
  • Conducts transversal projects being driven by either local or regional team.
  • Local labor law compliance + Labor committees secretary

HR Business Partner (mainly on Support Functions)

Recruitment:

  • Involves in the design of the staffing plans (additional / replacement hires) and is responsible for the implementation through a strong partnership with the internal recruitment team.
  • Supervises upstream budgetary agreements for job openings in conjunction with client group.
  • Implement specific recruitment strategy if needed.
  • Ensure efficient on-boarding of new hires.

Career Management & mobility:

  • Ensure sufficient training and development opportunity are provided for staff in all aspects.
  • Advises managers on strategic HR planning matters (anticipating profiles and skills to support business needs) on Career Management & mobility.
  • Know the people and understand the morale of the responsible area by meeting all levels of staff on regular basis. Advises and supports employees with regards to internal career management.

Talent Management:

  • Contributes to the formalization of succession plans for key positions.
  • In conjunction with the People and Talent Development objectives, involves in the formulation of appropriate training & development plans for talents and key staff.

Exit Management:

  • Proactively supports managers to prevent unnecessary staff turnover by anticipating short- and long-term business needs.
  • Develops and trains managers in all aspects specifically on performance management.
  • Participates exit communication when required.

Compensation:

  • Collects and provides regular market intelligence to managers.
  • Gives advice to managers on the annual compensation review exercise. Anticipates and flags potential issues.
  • Computes and proposes exit packages to the managers/employees

Compensation & Benefits Country Relay:

  • Market survey coordination in relation to compensation and benefits
  • Annual Compensation Review coordination liaising with Regional Compensation team
  • Payroll and related accounting entries supervision
  • Local tax compliance

Profile required

  • Extensive experience in Human Resources, with proven expertise in payroll management and related accounting entries.
  • HR advisor experience in matters related to talent management, organizational performance, and workforce planning and staffing.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with collaborative mindset.
  • Strong problem-solving skill and highly attentive to details with a good sense of numbers.
  • Excellent analytical skills and be able to work efficiently and effectively within a matrix organization.
  • Equipped with knowledge on Korea labor law.
  • Strategic, reliable and self-motivated, who is able to work independently and under pressure.
  • MS Office proficiency (Word, PowerPoint and Excel on pivot/VLOOKUP etc.)
