V.I.E. Finance Business Partner - Junior
Responsibilities
The Strategic Financial Steering Department is part of SG the Luxembourg Finance Department. It is in charge of the Business Units and the entity performance measurement. In that context, the Strategic Financial Steering team produces monthly analysis for the entity and Group Top Management. These analyses highlight changes vs previous years performance and budget target. This department is in charge of budget and strategic plan projections.
Contribute to the financial and strategic management of support functions (SU) and transversal activities of SG Luxembourg in the following areas :
• Develop a partnership with the SU business line in Luxembourg and with the Group's Finance function
• Analyze SU activities (with financial focus on general expenses by nature) and cost allocation (analytical or accounting) to Business Units (explanation of indirect costs)
• Update the databases (called Golden Source) for the entire management control department
• Prepare the budget trajectory

Profile required
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:
- Graduate with a Master’s degree from a Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Finance
- A previous experience in Finance would be appreciated
Language skills:
- Fluent in English
Technical, operational & soft skills:
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Proficient/Good command of MS Office
- Strong listening and analytical skills
- Proactivity, spearheading of proposals
The VIE assignment in a nutshell
This VIE in Luxemburg is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.
In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.
