About the Role:
As a Regional Payroll Specialist, your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Payroll:
Execute all necessary activities to process bi-weekly payroll for the U.S. and Canada
Administer all aspects of payroll using the automated ADP payroll system for both countries
Coordinate with the global mobility provider on accounting, reporting, and payment for shadow payroll, imputed income, and tax equalization
File and configure local, state/provincial, federal, and international payroll taxes for the U.S., Canada, and other relevant jurisdictions
Continuously enhance payroll reporting and automation within the region in line with best practices
Manage time and attendance processes for both the U.S. and Canada
Tax and Other Responsibilities:
Serve as the point of contact for global mobility services and external vendors, providing data and analysis for international assignees
Ensure strong operational controls are maintained and adhered to in line with existing governance frameworks
Support internal and external audits
Participate in special projects as needed
Profile required
What You Bring to the Team:
5+ years of experience in payroll processing
Experience with ADP payroll systems is preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow through
Strong relationship-building skills
Effective communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with business areas such as Human Capital Management, Tax, Financial Reporting, Accounting Policy, Treasury, Information Technology, and various Legal Entity Controllers
LANGUAGE:
Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States.
Due to US Federal Securities law applying to this position, candidates who will apply for this position will be required to submit to an enhanced background screening, including the collection of their fingerprints by a third-party vendor selected by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA")
