TRAINEE: Transition Management
Responsibilities
- Support Client Onboarding: Assist in the onboarding of new clients and new business for existing clients under the guidance of senior team members.
- Understand Client Needs: Learn to identify the purpose of each onboarding request and its importance to the firm, helping to prioritize tasks as needed.
- Conduct Basic Due Diligence: Help gather and analyze relevant information (financials, regulatory proof, etc.) to provide insights to internal stakeholders.
- Facilitate Introductions: Assist in coordinating introductions between clients and relevant stakeholders, including execution desks and onboarding teams.
- Learn Client Restructuring Needs: Support the team in understanding client restructuring requirements and assist in coordinating changes within client timelines.
- Manage Reporting Requirements: Assist in gathering client reporting needs, including trade reports and administrator requirements.
- Coordinate Client Demos: Help arrange client demonstrations for specific tools (Traiana TRM, Trade recap.etc), liaise with the relevant stakeholders to implement the setup.
- Present Reporting Tools: Coordinate and arrange available reporting tools within the SG Markets platform, providing basic support to meet client needs.
- Support Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in various ad hoc projects and contribute to the enhancement of onboarding procedures.
- Assist in Business Opportunities: Help coordinate new client requests and business opportunities for management review.
- Data Analytics Support: Assist in data collection and analysis for quarterly client reviews and revenue monitoring processes.
- Prepare Team Meetings: Support the preparation of weekly BAC meetings and quarterly account reviews, helping to create reports for management presentations.
- Track Onboarding Pipeline: Assist in monitoring the onboarding pipeline, providing regular updates on status to clients and internal stakeholders.
Profile required
- Hold a relevant Bachelor or master’s degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or similar.
- Basic understanding of brokerage regulations and rules that govern client onboarding.
- Willing to learn, able to learn quickly.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Have positive mindset and work as a team player.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team while handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong organization skills and attention to details
- Strong knowledge of MS Office with focus on Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and proficiency in Mandarin are mandatory.

Department Description:
Platform Sales and Relationship Management team consists of relationship managers and onboarding specialists under MARK/EQQ/Prime. We cover all asset classes under the EQD/Prime which include listed derivatives, FX, Cash equities, COTC, Swaps and FI.
The team is responsible for the whole lifecycle of the client relationship including the transition, performance management and growth of the portfolio.
