Responsibilities

Mission: Légal à Égal Program - for law students with disabilities

In partnership with the legal departments of AO Shearman we offer a tailor-made internship program for law students with disabilities.

We are aware that law students with disabilities face great difficulties throughout their academic journey and we wish to actively participate in the accessibility of legal professions and the inclusion of people with disabilities.

Tasks and responsibilities:

The Légal à Égal Program is aimed at talented law students and trainee lawyers with disabilities who are looking for internships that allow them to benefit from comprehensive practical training both in legal departments and law firms and to apply their knowledge.

Thus, you are a student in Master, gap year, or enrolled in a law school and are looking for legal internships within structures recognized for their excellence, we offer you to apply for two internships: one within the legal department of Société Générale Luxembourg and the other within one of the teams of A&O Shearman Luxembourg.

We will ensure that all the necessary adjustments are made, if applicable, for an optimal welcome of the selected interns.

We will also provide you with mentoring and coaching throughout your internship.

Required profile

Operational & behavioral skills                                                    

  • You are looking for an internship as part of your master’s degree or gap year (this is not a CCDL traineeship)
  • You are fluent in French and English and have good writing skills in both languages
  • You are proactive, curious, and eager to learn
  • You have a disability that is recognized by the relevant authorities

Languages:

  • French and English - fluent level

Your internship:

  • Agreed course
  • Full-time internship (no alternance possible)
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Internship start date: September 2025
