Responsibilities

  • Work and assist with Greater China Credit Sales Team on a day-to-day basis to provide services for institutional clients
  • Assist sales on daily credit bond trading flow and repo enquiries; assist on trade bookings and maintain a comprehensive record of executed trades
  • Reconcile trade details with clients, traders, middle and back offices, ensuring smooth process on both pre-trade and post-trade settlement. (Legal, Operations, Client Support, Valuation, and Trading)
  • Coordinate after-sales services for clients including issues related to settlement, valuations publication etc.
  • Assist sales on KYC affairs, including new client onboarding, periodical KYC review, reverse KYC and ad hoc subaccount onboarding requests

Profile required

  • Hold a relevant Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Economics or similar
  • Demonstrate the capacity to work in a team environment, on collective success
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Pro-active, rigorous, able to multitask and work under pressure
  • Fluent English and Mandarin are mandatory
  • HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) certification is preferred

This is a fixed term 24-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.
