Business Analyst with French
Responsibilities
The “Arrêtés des comptes” team is part of the IT department supporting the French Retail Banking division of Société Générale. You will join a team responsible for the calculation and management if interests and commissions for individual and professional clients.
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to take on a key role as the guardian of the application lifecycle, from ideation to post-production support, contributing to the reliability and performance of a critical banking process. You won’t just analyze, you’ll shape, optimize and enable. You’ll be joining a team where your ability to navigate complexity will directly influence client satisfaction and operational success.
How you will make an impact:
Ensure that every business request is transformed into clear, actionable, and value-adding solutions
Be the voice of the business within the IT landscape, helping to prioritize and deliver solutions for incident tickets and application-related issues
Contribute to all project phases: scoping, design, estimations, testing, and deployment
Write detailed functional specifications and user stories
Facilitate workshops for solution design and estimate effort in collaboration with developers
Assist the testing team in building the test strategy
Facilitate or actively participate in project committees and own the follow up plan to completion
Profile required

Higher education in IT, business, or related field
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in a banking or financial environment
Excellent communication skills in French, both written and spoken
Comfortable communicating with both business and technical stakeholders
Ability to navigate technical environments (you will need basic knowledge of SQL or similar)
Strong autonomy and emotional intelligence (take ownership while nurturing collaboration)
Skilled at synthetizing the big picture while remaining detail-oriented when execution demands it
Able to anticipate obstacles, propose improvements, and create future-focused plans
Nice to have:
Experience on IT banking projects
Previous interaction with Mainframe technologies
Knowledge of systems for managing interests and commissions
