About the Role

As a Technical Trainee in MMG, you will be at the heart of risk and performance analysis for Capital Markets UK. You will work closely with trading desks, risk managers, and regulators to deliver insightful analysis, develop innovative tools, and contribute to the firm’s robust risk management framework.

What You'll Do

  • Analyse UK trading performance and identify key risk factors
  • Develop and automate risk indicators using advanced VBA and Python coding
  • Collaborate with senior management, regulators, and cross-functional teams in Paris and Bangalore
  • Participate in the design and implementation of new risk methodologies and regulatory compliance
  • Deliver timely, accurate KPIs and escalate issues proactively
  • Support ad hoc management requests with agility and precision

Profile required

Who You Are

  • A graduate with a degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
  • Strong financial technical knowledge with a passion for market risk and performance analysis
  • Expert in VBA coding; Python skills are a plus
  • Confident communicator able to work effectively under pressure and liaise with trading desks and senior stakeholders
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Fluent in written and spoken English with strong attention to detail
