Responsibilities

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently looking for a Business Continuity Specialist. If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity to further grow your career, we encourage you to apply for this exciting role.

Within the Global Banking Technology & Operations Service Unit, you will be responsible for the set up and operational management of Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework for Société Générale wholesale banking entities in United Kingdom.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Maintaining and continuously improving the Business Continuity framework for the London platform.
  • Supporting operational managers in defining, implementing, and testing their Business Continuity Plans and recovery solutions.
  • Ensuring the Business Continuity Management framework remains effective through regular controls and swift remediation of identified issues.
  • Maintaining the Crisis Management framework and documentation, and participating in crisis management exercises.
  • Assessing business continuity risks for critical third-party suppliers.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop solutions in line with Société Générale’s policies and procedures.
  • Taking part in initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing operational resilience and business continuity, and meeting new Group or regulatory requirements.
  • Raising awareness and fostering a strong operational resilience and business continuity culture within the UK platform.

Profile required

You will be best suited for the role if you:

  • Have 3+ years’ experience in Business Continuity or Operational Resilience, ideally within financial services.
  • Possess a solid understanding of operational risk management in complex organizations.
  • Combine strong analytical skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Are proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfortable working with diverse data sources.
  • Communicate clearly in English and work confidently in an international environment.
  • Are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage priorities independently.
  • Are open to working in UK business hours.
